The Hotel Mac in Point Richmond, was built in 1911 and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. For Point Richmond residents it is a happening place!

 

As you enter the beautiful main doors you see a cozy, inviting atmosphere full of old world charm. Don’t let that fool you, everything on the menu offers enjoyment for young and old alike. The ever popular Happy Hour (3-6) includes an extensive bar menu.  Music is offered seven days a week. You can enjoy a variety of musical styles, many performed by talented local musicians.

 

If you choose to continue straight ahead from the main doors a flight of stairs will take you to the main dining area.  Hotel Mac Restaurant is well known for the Prime Rib and “Wild Caught” salmon.

The bar and restaurant is owned by Lara Choe.  Not a newcomer to the restaurant industry, Lara has owned and operated successful restaurants for 45 years.  She has owned 16 restaurants, two in Hawaii. Hotel Mac is the 16th; with a new one to open in September. One of the many enjoyable experiences at Hotel Mac restaurant is seeing Lara engaging her clientele with visits to each table.  When you hear her singing “Happy Birthday” you experience a genuine feeling she cares about you.
