What: 24th Annual Indigenous People’s Day, Pow Wow and Indian Market

Inspired by San Francisco, Berkeley will once again throw a giant street party as Shattuck Avenue will be car-free for 17 blocks from Rose Street to Haste Street for more than a mile-long street party with dancing, skating, musical jam sessions, chess games, soccer, pedal-powered music, and more on the open streets.

What: Halloween Glow-In-The-Dark Black Light Art Show

Alameda’s Studio 23 presents their annual BlackLight Art Show in October 2016 with glowing artworks and body painting by East Bay Artists.
There will be no lights. All of the artwork glows under a black light with the use of UV reactive fluorescent color paints.
